Cisco Brothers is a west coast company based out of Los Angeles, creating fine furniture made by people not machines. As founding members of the SFC (Sustainable Furniture Council), every piece of furniture for home decor is made by skilled Makers, using SFC approved materials, as well as repurposed and discarded materials. All materials used are ethically sourced, including the use of water-based stains and natural fabrics.

2. LEE INDUSTRIES
Like Cisco Brothers, LEE Industries is a founding member of the SFC. As a member, they created their line of home decor furnishings called NaturaLEE, which are completely sustainably made. The NaturaLEE products are made with all SFC certified wood and soy-based materials in seat cushions, which reduce 30% of petroleum-based chemicals that are traditionally used in manufacturing. The use of soy-based materials not only supports local farmers, but removes nearly 2,200 barrels of crude oil in manufacturing for every million pounds of petroleum-based polyols that are replaced with soy-based polyols.

PVC can be melted down and recycled, unlike other plastics, because it’s non-toxic and contains no phthalates or heavy metals.
